Saying Hi before I arrive!
«

Just thought I would say Hi before arriving to do a teaching stint. I am coming out representing Central TAFE in Perth Western Australia, and teaching 4 business modules,.
I was fortunate last year to teach for an 8 week period at NIVA (Nanjing Institute of Visual Arts - taught photography as I spent many years as a freelance commercial photographer before taking up teaching),
and jumped at the chance to come again - back to an amazing society & culture.
Due to fly in mid-nov, and teach for 7 weeks before taking a break ( I am teaching through the Australain Long Summer holidays).
I hope you guys can help with general, travel & hotel advice (had no problems last time), as my partner is coming out, hoping to meet up in Shanghai, then Hefei, Xi'an, Beijing and H.K - so any suggestion re anything for my stay (work) and break, inc where to go and do the "tourist" thing.
Hope to make it special as it will be my 50th Birthday the day after I finish the last lecture!!!!, and she is due to arrive for the big day!
So look forward to "chatting", and maybe catching up?

Hi Mark,
There are a few Aussies here most from Perth.
Some are the same age group...
Including me.
Call me on 138 667 393 53 when you arrive.
Happy to introduce you to the scene and show you around.
Life is pretty damned good here...
You'll love it I'm sure.
