Planning to movo to Hefei

Hi all,
we are considering accepting a job in Heife and would like to know how is life for an expat in this city. Any information will be greatly appreciated
How many expats live in Heife? Are good apartments easily available for renting?
Are there parks where we can go for a walk. We have a dog and we are concerned in how difficult it is to have a dog in China.
How about availability of dog kennels and also if people are allowed to take their dogs for a walk at the park, streets...
Do any expats you know have a dog? Is it easy to find a vet?

My Chinese have dogs here, there doesn't seen to be a problem, plenty of places to exercise them.
There is an abundance of apartments here at reasonable prices. 1500 will get you a new large comfortable place in the outer ring or a small neat place in the city.
