This weekend, Saturday June 25, there will be a Chinese organised E-bike 'enthusiast' "Club Run" from the northside second ring road to Ming Zhu Guang Chang. It is approximately a 35km round trip and entertainment will be had enroute and at a "watering hole" at some point. In fact, the latter destination is the objective!

Bear in mind, driving under the influence is not permissive; so if you see blue 'cigar-shaped' lights, they might not be UFO in origin.

The Chinese 'boys' showed me photos of the last event and it looks like a bit of fun. I guess motor scooters are welcome to join as well if you dare pollute the environment. Basically at this stage, I am the only foreigner I know of who will participate, but if you can make it -- borrow a bike -- and come along for the ride.

The guys who organise this event are enthusiasts who like to customise and 'doll up' their bikes. I have been told that some of their e-bikes have been seen doing 'mono-wheel' stunts -- a 'wheel-stand' -- as some like to call it. Unfortunately, I don't have enough torque to match them.

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, if you want to buy a personalised custom bike, or do modifications to an existing bike, I have the contacts. In fact the ''run'' begins from the humble little shop. I bought a 'retro' Vespa style scooter with a 60 volt 800 watt configuration. It cruises at 60 kmh around town and if feathered for distance attains 50 km during summer. Cooler weather reduces the distance. I am no lightweight so most people can logically get better efficiency from such a machine. Regardless, even for me, it has plenty of power to manouvre through traffic. I have had it rapping along clear roadways at about 80 kmh down a slight decline without any problems at all.

Having said that, I am hungering for more power in the form of rapid acceleration and wheel lifting torque. As the proprietor of the shop can customise bikes with the expertise to make modifications, my idea of making a true custom conversion of a lightweight racing frame --by substituting the gas guzzling ICE with a high-powered electric drive train -- might just become a reality in the medium term future. If I could buy a frame tomorrow I would be on the job I guess. Something about enjoying the power and freedom an e-bike or e-vehicle can deliver excites me just as much as any performance vehicle does.

If anyone wants to join us or meet up with us along the way, we depart the shop at 6pm this Saturday. You can SMS me on 13003060214 if you are interested.

Administrators

I seldom get posts deleted but there were two posts on the subject of E-bike Club Run.

This monkey arsed Moncler has somehow criminally assumed rights to my post and placed their own "SPAM" to link to retail.

This is one issue that gets right up my nose. I had a similar thing happen with my G-mail and MSN. I deleted my MSN and tracked the "spammer" on G-mail. The "spammer" on G-mail backed off but blocked my demands for 10000 yuan compensation for falsely using me to endorse their retail outlet. I think they call that "phishing."

Regardless, I can't delete the first post so I can't dump this spam!!!

Sorry ladies, but can admin piss this piece of shit off the site. Go ahead and gladly delete this entire thread.

I would personally like to get a bucket of shit in readiness, before that I would like to prop his eyes open, jam his mouth open, put tubes with funnels up his nostrils and then let the contents of the bucket go to fill up his orifices. In other words, I detest low life scum like this.
