Great Chinese Restaurant - Free Beer!

The other day my wife and I were walking to Huachong park to take a look when our stomachs beckoned. We looked around where we walking and nothing looked too appealing.  We then came across a restaurant in Tongling lu that looked quite good. In we went with our limited chinese and a phrasebook. We had a very tasty meal and it was very reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and comfortably air conditioned. We have since been back with a Chinese speaking guest who was able to translate for us. The owner was very happy as we were the first foreigners to ever come there and he has been open a year.  He told us his cuisine is  Anhui, Huangshan, Shanghai and Cantonese.  The food was great again and we have had Beef, Goose, Duck and Chicken.  Tofu and vegetables and also a mixed plate of vegetables with eggplant was very tasty. The best part was he told us that each table gets up to six free beers!

It is on the west side of Tongling lu 150 - 200 metres south of the intersection with Chiangjiang Lu. It is next to a Traffic Police station - sorry no english name. Hopefully if anyone wants to go there they will not have the difficulties that those going to the Hot Dog restaurant had .

It is very reasonable, clean and the food is great!

It is nice to eat to a restaurant if the restaurant was very clean and comfortably air conditioned. You can really feel at home.
