Bit Burger

I recently went to BitBurger again and tried two new foods that I haven't tried before from there. I thought I would write my review here to let others know what they might encounter when they go.
I started with the Hungarian Goulash. It was so-so. My parents are from Hungary, so I have grown up eating Goulash all my life. This soup tasted like it was from a can or something. For all you guys from the US or Canada, it was equivalent to "Campbell's Tomato Soup", with some veggies thrown in. It was a tad spicy, which I am not a fan of. So, if you go there and order the Goulash, just make sure you get the non-spicy version if you prefer a milder taste.
Second, I had the German Sausage with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. This dish was more to my liking than anything that I have tried from them in my previous visits. They gave four good sized sausages (one of them I didn't eat because it was undercooked), but the sauerkraut and mashed potatoes serving size was too small. I would have gladly given up a sausage in exchange for more sauerkraut and mashed potatoes.
And last I had a green tea.
Service was good. Server spoke a little English. I went there during an "off-time", around 4:30 or so. So the service might have been good because there weren't many people at that time, don't know. All in all, an average eating experience.

so just the night of chinese v day my wife and I had gone to bitburger as much as i would say it was not bad never once i felt a chinese atmosphere as it seemed like a genuine western style restaurant i had the sausages with sour krauts which to me they could have added more krauts i love krauts eating them all the time back in the states allso they could have made them abit more to the sour side
but over all it was a nice place and would more than likely go back i would like to meet the owner perhaps instead of giving me the mashed potatoes i had asked for they gave potato wedges instead yet i didnt complain as i love em' all the same.
the beer was kind of pricey
small 25 rmb
large 40 rmb
total 99.00 rmb meal
i had to speak chinese since they never bothered to try english

You had to speak chinese?! Well I am not going there.... I don't like all this chinese speaking. Really we have been here long enough right? They should be speaking our language now, the universal language of the laowai...

I think it would be easier for me to teach everyone in China English than for me to learn Chinese...

as for bitburger many say you get a small amount of sourkrauts the reason. if you ask the waiter for more they would gladly give you another plate of sourkrauts for free!!!!
this is just a side dish as they give you 4 sausages this would be the main dish so anytime ask them for a free serving of sourkrauts at no charge
