Wanted- A Few Good Blokes For an Indoor Rugby Demo.

Dear Fellow Expats,

One of our teachers at Anhui Economic Management Institute is getting her students to put on a fashion show to raise funds for the benefit of Chinese orphans.

The show will feature some live entertainment, and it ocurred to me that it might be fun, amusing and would help a good cause if those of us who are Rugby fans/players were to put on a "Demonstration of Rugby" onstage. This would involve say 4-6 guys showing a few rugby manoeuvers, such as scrums, rolling mauls, drop-kicking, tackles, line-outs and so on with a suitable commentary (to be supplied by me). It would be, say, 10 minutes or so long, involve bringing a rugby ball and wearing a rugby jersey or reasonable facsimile thereof, and would provide our students with a quick and amusing look at something that most of them have never seen or even heard much of!

The show will be held sometime in May, once a venue has been arranged. If you are interested, could you leave your name and e-mail address at davewhite_nz@yahoo.com.au, and I'll get back to you so we can start getting the Demo organised.

Hi David,

How about combining it with an AFL footy demo and a cricket demo as well? We have enough semi skilled fella's here and we could choreograph the show to run consecutively. We have access to all the equipment through the "guru."
